Introduction

Sounds Crazy But the family will love it.

If you are looking for a lower fat version, try egg beaters in place of egg, and low fat or fat free cream cheese. I woudn't recommend a fat free mozzarella. I have also used whole grain Italian Bread as a substitute

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 1.25 LBS
    Ketchup, Heinz, 2 tbsp
    Bread, italian, 7 slice, large (4-1/2" x 3-1/4" x 3/4
    Egg, fresh, 1 large
    Progresso Bread Crumbs - Italian Style 1/2cup
    Garlic, 2 tsp
    Parmesan Cheese, shredded, 3 tbsp
    Mayonnaise, Hellman's Light, 3 tbsp
    Cream Cheese 8 oz
    Pepper, black, 1/2 tsp
    Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk, 8 oz
    Ragu Sauteed Onion & Garlic, 6 serving

Directions

In large mixing bowl, combine turkey, ketchup, Italian seasoning egg, minced garlic, breadcrumbs and parm cheese. Shape into small bals and plac eon rack in shallow baking pan.

Bake at 375 for 20 min or until cooked.

While meat is cooking, arrange bread in single layer in ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan.

In Mixing bowl, combine and beat cream cheese, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning and pepper and spread over bread slices. Sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella.

In bowl combine spaghetti sauce, water, and garlic. Arange meatballs over bread-cheese mixture and spoon spaghetti sauce over meatballs.

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25 min.

Remove from over and sprinkle remaining cheese over top of casserole. return to oven for 10 min. Let casserole stand for about 10 min before serving.
