Workout Energy Bars

Introduction

These chewy bars are great to use as energy bars for your workouts! These chewy bars are great to use as energy bars for your workouts!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 cup crushed Corn Flakes, Bran Flakes, Rice Krispies (or any whole grain cereal)
    1/2 cup raw or toasted hulled sunflower seeds
    1/2 cup sesame seeds, toasted
    1/4 cup sliced or slivered almonds
    2 Tbsp. ground flaxseed
    1/2 cup honey

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients except honey.
2. Bring honey to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 8 minutes.
3. Pour over mixture and coat evenly. Press into a greased 8"x8" pan. Cool compleely and cut into bars.
