A traditional Turkish soup in its most basic form. You can add 1 medium tomato (peeled and squashed) or half a cup of tomato juice, any amount of fresh or dried parsley and dill, or change the ratio of broth/water or even replace some of broth or water with milk (don't overdo milk) according to your taste.Nutritional info is calculated without optional ingredients. Ingredients

Yogurt, plain, low fat, 0.5 cup
Brown Rice 0.25 cup
Flour 0.25 cup
Thyme, ground, 1 tsp
Dried Mint, ground, 1 tsp
Chicken Broth, 3 cups
Water, 2 cups
Directions
Mix yoghurt and flour (and squashed tomato/tomato juice if you'd like to add), whip until smooth. Then add water and broth (and/or milk), mix again. Add rice and salt. Start to cook, stirring until it boils. When it start to boil add thyme and mint (and parsley and dill if you want) Stir occasionally for about 10 mins. The soup is ready when the rice is done.
