4 fillets, 1 1/2 in thick
4 tsp butter, divided
1yellow bell pepper, sliced thin
1 red bell pepper, sliced thin
1 green bell pepper, sliced thin
1 1/2 tsp black peppercorns, cracked
2 tsp brandy
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 c heavy cream
Sprinkle fillets with salt & press peppercorns into both sides. Heat 1 tsp butter and olive oil in skillet and brown steaks for 5 min on each side. Remove steaks and keep warm.
Deglaze pan with brandy. Stir in cream and bring to boil til slightly reduced. Add remaining butter in pieces and season with salt and pepper. Place Pepper slices on serving dish, and arrange steaks on top. Pour sauce over steaks.
