Introduction

This was my aunt's recipe. You can change it around by adding different nuts or fruits but always remember to add fruits after the baking. The changes would alter the calories and nutritional values though! This was my aunt's recipe. Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    4 cups rolled oats
    1 cup flaked coconut
    1 cup nuts (coarsely chopped)
    3/4 cup wheat germ
    1/2 cup honey
    1/3 cup oil
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 cup raisins

Directions

Spread 4 cups rolled oats on ungreased sheet cake pan (or cookie sheet) and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Stir in: coconut, nuts, wheat germ and cinnamon
Then add: honey, oil and vanilla.
Mix until dry ingredients are well coated. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes stirring about every 5 minutes so it browns evenly. (We like it at 20 minutes)
Stir in: 1 cup raisins.
Cool and store!
