ΒΌ cup unseasoned rice or cider vinegar
3 tsp wasabi powder
2 tsp sugar
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 lb (about 1 large) kohlrabi, unpeeled and shredded
12 oz (about 1/2 medium) daikon radish, peeled and shredded
1 small carrot, shredded
1 large scallion, thinly sliced
Add the vegetables, toss to coat.
Chill 1 hour before serving.

A. May. Zing!!!! I make a delicious kohlrabi slaw with identical ingredients except for the soy sauce and wasabi, and I add a little of the light, olive oil mayo, so it's more like a traditional slaw. It's very popular around my house, but when I'm in a mood for asian, I'm going for this! YUM! - 12/19/10
