Ground Beef Stroganoff

Introduction

This is made with ground beef instead of stewing beef. This is made with ground beef instead of stewing beef.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 lbs Ground Beef
    2 cups Mushrooms Sliced
    2 Onions Thinly Sliced
    1.5 Cups Beef Broth
    1 Package Whole Wheat Egg Noodles
    1 Cup Sour Cream
    2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
    3 Tbsp Tomato Sauce
    Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

Slow Cooker:
Brown meat on the stove in a large frying pan and using a slotted spoon transfer to slow cooker. Add Mushrooms, Onions, Beef Broth, Worcestershire, Tomato Sauce and Salt and Pepper taste. Miw well. Cook for 2-4 hours on high or for 6-8 hours on low. Boil Noodles until done. Add Sour Cream and cook for another 10 minutes. Serve over noodles.
Stovetop:
Brown Meat on the stove in a large deep frying pan. Add Mushrooms and Onions and cook until soft. Add Beef Broth, Worcestershire, Tomato Sauce and Salt & Pepper to taste. Mix well. Cover and cook for 30 minutes on medium, stirring occasionally. Boil Noodles until done. Add Sour Cream and mix until blended. Serve over noodles.
