IntroductionMy son-in-law discovered this mock recipe for an Outback Alices Spring Chicken...and I tweaked it to reduce the fat.
My son-in-law discovered this mock recipe for an Outback Alices Spring Chicken...and I tweaked it to reduce the fat.
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup Grey Poupon Mustard
1/2 cup honey
Sprinkle of season all
4 chicken breasts
4 strips turkey bacon
Mix mayo,mustard and honey until well blended
Flatten chicken sprinkle with seasoned salt
Put a little of marinade on each piece of chicken and marinade for one hour ( optional)
Cook turkey bacon over med heat....use cooking spray if needed.
Remove when done.
Use cooking spray if needed, then cook chicken breasts over medium high heat ( med if needed) for about 6 minutes. Turn over and cook an addtional 6 minutes, Spread a bit of marinade on top of each.
Remove from pan,place turkey bacon on each and sprinkle with the cheese.
4 servings and is super good with steamed mixed veggies just like the Outback would have. Keep it healthy with a long grain rice.
This is a super everybody likes it kind of dinner! Even the kids!
