Chicken Jalapeno popper sandwich

Introduction

An alternative to the ridiculously fatty-albeit delicious- sandwich at TGI Friday's.

A crispy "chicken" sandwich with bursting with spicy flavor!
An alternative to the ridiculously fatty-albeit delicious- sandwich at TGI Friday's.

A crispy "chicken" sandwich with bursting with spicy flavor!

Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    Morning Star Farms 'Chicken' Patty
    Whole wheat lite bun
    about a quarter cup sliced jalapeño
    2 tsp jalapeño jelly [any hot pepper will work)
    1 tbsp low fat cream cheese

Directions

Bake 'chicken' patty according to directions on box [around 18 minutes]. Slice jalapeños, set aside. Lightly toast the bun, keep warm until the patty is done.
Put the patty on smaller half of the bun. On the other spread the cream cheese, and then spread the jelly on top. Place jalapeños on top of the cream cheese/jelly mixture. Close the sandwich.
Enjoy, and make sure you have something to drink while you're at it!
