Crockpot Mild White Chili

Introduction

A mild chili made with chicken (or pork if you prefer) and slow simmered in the crock pot for a cold winters night :D A mild chili made with chicken (or pork if you prefer) and slow simmered in the crock pot for a cold winters night :D
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    INGREDIENTS
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1 onion, chopped
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    4 boneless chicken breast half, chopped
    OR 4 thick cut boneless pork chops ground
    44 ounces chicken broth
    2 teaspoons ground cumin
    1 1/2 teaspoons new Mexico chili pepper
    2 (14.5 ounce) cans great Northern beans

Directions

DIRECTIONS
1.Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and saute for 10 minutes, or until onions are tender. Add the meat and brown.
2.In the mean time add chicken broth, cumin, beans and chili pepper to crock pot on low.
3.When meat is brown add to Crockpot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Serving suggestions: Top with cheese or sour cream.
