Peanut Butter Bumper Balls

I had a craving and an urge to be creative. Need I say more? This recipe can be multiplied or divided very easily. I had a craving and an urge to be creative. Need I say more? This recipe can be multiplied or divided very easily.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Mother's Cocoa Bumpers cereal (or Cocoa Puffs), 4 cups
    Peanut Butter, reduced fat, .25 cup
    Vanilla Extract, .25 tsp
    Light Corn Syrup, .25 cup
    Granulated Sugar, .25 cup
    Salt, 1/8 tsp (optional)

Directions

Mix sugar and syrup and heat to boiling (about 45 seconds in microwave or you can use the stove). Quickly stir in peanut butter and vanilla (and optional salt). Quickly pour over cereal and mix to coat. With greased hands, form into balls and put on wax paper to set. Of course, you can always eat them while they're still warm and gooey!
