Ingredients

2/3 cup skim milk
2 Tbs Splenda
2 egg whites (if you are not watching cholesterol, 1 whole beaten egg may be used.)
1/2 Tbs egg yolk (unless you are using a whole egg.)
2 tsp. corn starch
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract (optional)
Directions
Prepare a pan of ice water that is large enough to hold the saucepan you'll be using.
Beat egg white and yolk together. In a small heavy saucepan, combine milk, egg, cornstarch, and Splenda. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 10 minutes. Put pan into ice water, stirring constantly, for 1 or 2 minutes. Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and chill for at least an hour.
Serve over fresh strawberries, blueberries, etc.
