Grilled Rosemary Tomatoes

Submitted by: DOLLFACE60

Introduction

This is easy, quick, healthy & looks awesome on the plate. I use smaller tomotes like a valentino type. This is easy, quick, healthy & looks awesome on the plate. I use smaller tomotes like a valentino type.

Ingredients

    Fresh Rosemary Sprigs
    Tomato
    Olive Oil

Directions

Wash tomatoes and rosemary. Pat dry. Poke a good sized sprig of fresh rosemary into the tomato at the stem base. Push this all the way in but try not to break the skin on the bottom. Let sit for at least 4-6 hours. When ready to cook drizzle very lightly with olive oil and place on sheet of foil on the grill over low heat. Keep turning to prevent burning and ensure even warming. Serve and enjoy - the rosemary flavour gets completely infused into the tomato! Yummy!
