Ingredients

    1 large sweet potato, peeled and cut into wedges
    2 teaspoons canola oil
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    Pinch of cayenne pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 450°F. Toss sweet potato wedges with oil, salt and pepper. Spread the wedges out on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake until browned and tender, turning once, about 20 minutes total.

    These were delicious! My kids even liked them and they usually are not very adapt to trying new things. I even made a few fries with Idaho potatoes just in case and they WANTED the sweet potato ones! - 10/15/08

    I liked them but my husband and kids did not. Next time I will not put the pepper on but will try chili powder. It's much less hot!! - 5/18/12

    These are great! I've tried them this way and also with cinnamon an d a pinch of sugar instead of cayenne. Either way they are a family favorite. - 10/14/08
