Introduction

Ingredients

    1.25 cups Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal
    1.25 cups skim milk
    1 large egg (I use egg whites equivalent)
    1 tbsp canola oil
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 tsp low-sodium baking powder
    1 tbsp Miracle Reds
    1 scoop (30g) protein powder

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix oats and milk; let stand 5 minutes. Add egg and oil, then mix. Add dry ingredients and mix until just blended. Cook on hot, nonstick skillet until golden brown. Flip and cook until other side is golden. Optional. For an antioxidant boost, add .25 cup fresh blueberries to batter before cooking.
