Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage
1 1/2 pounds venison
1 package (8.5oz-2 cups) Uncle Ben Santa Fe
1 small onion (chopped)
1 egg (lightly beaten)
1 16 oz can tomato sauce
4 tsp brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions
makes 12 cabbage rolls. serving size is 3 rolls.
steam cabbage for 20-30 minutes
remove 12 leaves for rolls
combine venison, rice, onion, and egg. Mix well
put about 1/3 cup mixture on each cabbage leaf
roll up and place in a large skillet
mix tomato sauce, brown sugar, water, and lemon juice together. pour over cabbage rolls.
Cover and simmer 1 hour 15 minutes
