Slow Cooker Beef Dip

Introduction

Easy to make, and great when you have company coming for a delicious, no-fuss dinner. Easy to make, and great when you have company coming for a delicious, no-fuss dinner.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 1/2 lb. boneless beef chuck
    boiling water
    4 tsp beef bouillon
    1/2 tsp onion powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    10 Merita Lite Wheat Hamburger buns
    40 tbsp sliced green olives (4 tbsp per bun)

Directions

Place roast in 3 1/2 quart slow cooker. Add boiling water till halfway up sides of roast. Cover. Cook on low 7-9 hours or on high 3 1/2-4 1/2 hours.

Remove roast. Strain beef juice. Skim off any fat. Add hot water to beef juice, if needed, to make 3 cups.

Add bouillon, onion powder, salt & pepper. Stir. Slice beef thinly. Insert slices into each bun. Serve with a small bowl of beef juice for dipping.
Serve with green olives (yum!).

Makes 10 buns and 3 cups juice.
