This is the most common beverage served in every home in India. there r many variation to Tea depending on what you r in mood for. like tea with Ginger, Cardamon, lemon grass etc.
Some lke it strong and few lite.

This is the recipe for a basic variety of Tea.

Sugar can be replaced with Splenda to cut down on sugar Calories

Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    - Water, tap, 0.25 cup (2 fl oz)
    - LIPTON Black Tea (1 Tea bag or 2.0g), 2 serving
    - Milk, nonfat, 0.5 cup
    - Granulated Sugar, 2 tsp

Directions

1. take water in a small sauce pan
2. add Lipton Black tea.
3. wait till it starts to boil
4. Add Milk
5. let it boil.
6. Immediately after the first boil, pour in a cup (If using loose tea powder strain the tea)
7. Add sugar
8. serve it piping hot.
