I totally loved the pancakes! I replaced the buttermilk with soymilkand used baking powder instead of baking soda. I also used a 1/2 cup of organic flour to replace the usual unbleached flour. My daughter loves the pancakes as well! She kept asking for more. Very easy to make! - 4/14/10

  • These certainly don't seem like they are "light" or "reduced"; they are very tasty and filling. I did substitute Splenda for the sugar and butter for the margarine. Then I pureed some peaches and cooked them down to make a syrup... yuum!

  • I use honey instead of sugar, and olive oil instead of melted Smart Balance. I also add a teaspoon of ground flax seed for additional fiber and omega-3's. This recipe is wonderful! Even my husband, who doesn't much care for pancakes, can't get enough of these! - 4/3/11

  • This is similar to a favorite Betty Crocker recipe that I've been trying to redo. The time involved is hard to work out, and your recipe and others have helped model for me what my goals are as I look at recipes. Thanks. - 3/14/11
