Introduction

Great Kids recipe. Made in the slow cooker. Make 6 1 cup servings Great Kids recipe. Made in the slow cooker. Make 6 1 cup servings
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    *White Rice, medium grain, 1 cup (remove)
    Water, tap, 6 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    chicken granules, 2 serving (remove)
    cream of chicken soup, 2.5 serving (remove)
    garlic powder, 0.25 tsp (remove)
    mild cheddar, 4 serving (remove)
    Broccoli, fresh, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Chicken Breast, no skin, 2 unit (yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook (remove)

Directions

Combine all ingreident except brocoli. Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or on low for 6 to 7 hours. 1 hour before ending add broccoli.

Note If casserole is too runny as the end of cookign near remove the lid during the last 15 minutes.

  • I made this on a night when my kids were sick = no time to cook. The flavor was very flat... I added worchestershire sauce, extra garlic, summer savory and cayenne. It would be MUCH better if you start with a base of sauteed onions, garlic and celery. I'd make it again w/those changes. - 10/30/08

  • I didn't add the chicken granules, but this is still a YUMMY recipe.. with such a small price tag, this is going on my rotating meals. Thanks. - 9/23/08
