Pasta with Italian Sausage meat sauce

Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Mild Italian sausage
    Onion, chopped about 1/2 C.
    Garlic, chopped
    Splash of white wine
    Bertolli Vineyard Marinara, 3 cup
    Tomato Sauce, 2 cup
    Italian spices that you like
    Pasta, cooked, 12 oz

Directions

Brown sausage, drain.

While meat is draining, cook onions til almost transluscent, add garlic. Cook a few more minutes. Add splash of white wine, scrape to loosen bits on bottom of pan.

Return meat to pan, add Marinara and tomato sauce.

Add spices. Stir it all up, bring to a low boil. Reduce heat to low, let simmer for at least 20 minutes, or longer to deepen the flavor.

Serve over cooked pasta.

Serving is 3 ounces of pasta with about a cup of meat sauce on top.
