Hot summer days often reduce our inclination to cook - and our appetites as well. Try this simple tuna pasta salad - add more veggies & make it your own! Hot summer days often reduce our inclination to cook - and our appetites as well. Try this simple tuna pasta salad - add more veggies & make it your own!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    8 oz. Pasta (prefer farfalle aka bowties), cooked
    2-3 TBS Newman's Own Sundried Tomato dressing
    1 6 oz. can of tuna, in water, drained
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1/4 c. celery, chopped (add some chopped carrots, bell pepper, etc.!)

Directions

Cook the pasta & rinse with very cold water. Drain well.

Add the chopped onion, tuna, and salad dressing - cover and refrigerate for an hour (or longer). Salt & Pepper, if desired.

Add celery & any other veggies you have on hand - another dash of the dressing & 1 TBS of mayo if desired. Mix well & eat!
