Thai Chicken

Introduction

Totally easy! This is great served over angel hair pasta instead of the traditional jasmine rice. Totally easy! This is great served over angel hair pasta instead of the traditional jasmine rice.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 T canola oil
    1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    1 red bell pepper, cut into 1/4" strips
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    2 serrano peppers, seeded and minced
    6 T hoisin sauce
    3 T Thai fish sauce
    1 1/2 t granulated sugar
    1/2 c water
    1 c chopped fresh basil

Directions

In a large skillet, heat oil over high heat.
Add chicken and stir-fry for 4 minutes.
Add red bell pepper, serrano peppers and garlic and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
Add hoisin sauce, fish sauce, sugar and water and stir to combine.
Add basil and cook until basil is wilted.

Serves 4.
