My basic chili

Introduction

Ingredients

    2 cans tomatoes
    8 oz ground beef
    1 cup dry pinto beans
    3 tbsp chili powder
    2 tbsp minced onion
    1 tbsp minced garlic
    1 tbsp oregano
    dash of cinnamon
    salt to taste

Directions

Soften pinto beans according to package directions. Brown ground beef, drain. Place all ingredients in a slow cooker or large pot, cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 2-3 hours. Makes about 5 1-cup servings.
