Peach Cake

Introduction

I use brown sugar blend which contains 1/2 the sugar amount and allows for a nice carmel flavoring I use brown sugar blend which contains 1/2 the sugar amount and allows for a nice carmel flavoring

Ingredients

    2 cups canned peaches sliced
    1/2 cup brown sugar blend
    2 egg white
    1 tblsp light margarine
    1 tblsp non fat milk
    1/4 cup wheat flour
    1/4 cup white flour
    1/8 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking powder

Directions

preheat oven 350

drain peaches and saute in pan with 1/4 cup brown sugar set aside with hand mixer mix egg whites butter and 1/4 cup brown sugar until creamy in a separate bowl mix dry ingredients and whisk to incorporate together add to wet ingredients and mix until blended

line 8 x 8 pan with parchment paper and pour batter in pan take peaches and place on top of cake batter

bake 35-40 minutes

serves 9
