    4 egg whites
    1/3 cup applesauce

1 box Sugar Free Vanilla Pudding
    1/2 cup sliced strawberries

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spray non-stick 13x9 pan
Blend cake mix with egg whites, applesauce, and water.
Pour Cake mix into pan, bake for 30-35 minutes till toothpick comes out clean.
While cake is baking, make jello with 6 oz of milk, and blend Whip Topping into it... refridgerate
Once cake is done, let cool well
Once cooled... poke holes about every two inches all over cake... set aside
Mix jello mix with 8 oz soda, stir in well, keep stiring till it starts to set up a little, pour over cake slowly, so that the jello is absorbed by the cake into the holes poked. Do this until all soda mixture is absorbed.
Chill cake for 1 hour in fridge
Frost cake with the pudding/whip topping mix.
Top with strawberry slices

  • You said to mix jello with 6 oz milk but later in the recipe you have jello with the soda... won't work at all! I think you meant to mix pudding with the milk, that makes more sense to me. this sounds wonderful. Jello cake was an old standby in our family- brings up memories! - 11/21/11
