BBQ Chicken Legs with Mop Sauce

Ingredients

Spice Rub:
2 Tbsp. packed dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp. paprika
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. onion powder
Freshly ground pepper to taste
8 skinless chicken legs
Mop Sauce:
1/3 C. Ketchup
1/4 C. Cider Vinegar
2 Tbsp. Molasses
2 tsp. Worcestshire sauce
Dashes of Liquid Smoke to taste
Directions
You can use this and grill the meat or cook in the oven.
Spray grill with nonstick spray, prepare for indirect heating.
Combine the spices together for spice rub. Rub 1/2 mixture all over meat and let stand at least 15 mins.
Prepare the sauce while meat is marinating, combine and adjust to your taste.
Rub the meat with remaining spice rub. Place over indirect heat section of grill. Grill 15 mins or until juices run clear. Keeping and eye on the chicken to make sure that it doesn't burn, turn as needed. Remove from grill cover loosely with foil and let stand 5-10 mins before serving. Serve with sauce.
