Introduction

I love butternut squash but hate having to cut it. This receipe is great because I can put the whole thing in the pressure cooker! you can replace the squash with pumpkin or other squashes, it works, tastes and looks great. This receipe is great because I can put the whole thing in the pressure cooker! you can replace the squash with pumpkin or other squashes, it works, tastes and looks great.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 whole butternut squash
    water
    3 cups of milk 2%
    3 tbs of cream cheese
    Thyme
    Salt


Directions

Cook the whole butternut in salted water in your pressure cooker for 10 minutes.
Remove squash and cut in half, remove seeds and return the squash to the water, continue to cook until completly soft.
Add milk.
Blend till smooth.
Garnish with cream cheese and thyme. Serve hot or cold.
