This is soooo good. And it is easy to make. It is filling and low fat, low salt. You can add whatever vegetables you like or add some chicken or beef if you like. Ingredients

    Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, small (about 4-1/2" dia)
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1.5 cup, chopped or sliced
    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Garlic, 2 cloves, minced
    Broccoli, frozen, .33 package (10 oz)
    Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced
    Water, tap, 8 cup (8 fl oz)
    Cabbage, red, fresh, 1 cup, chopped
    GV Tomato Sauce No salt added, 1 cup
    GV Chicken Broth Ready to Serve /Qt. carton, 2 cup

Directions

Cut vegetabels into 1 or 2 inch pieces. Saute onion in 1 tbls. olive oil until they are clear. Add minced garlic and stir.
Add cabbage,celery,tomatoes, tomato sauce and simmer for a few minutes. Add broth and cook for about 5 minutes. Add water and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 more minutes. Turn down heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. Add broccoli about five minutes before done.
This is a recipe that you have to just use your judgment overall. It is versatile and easy and you can make it to suit your tastes. Makes about 10 - 1 cup servings.
