Ayurveda Power Drink

Ingredients

    5 Almonds
    1 big dry fig
    2 dates
    a few pistachio nuts
    a few filaments of Saffron
    a few drops of rose water

Directions

The night before, soak the almonds in purified water in one bowl. Soak the fig, dates, pistachios in purified water in another bowl.

In the morning pour the soaking water into a blender. Peel the almonds, and pit the dates, place them along with the fig and pistachios in a blender.

Add the saffron and blend until smooth. Add a little extra water if necessary to adjust the consistency, but mixture should be quite thick.

Add a few drops of rose water before serving.

Makes one serving. Double ingredients for two.
