Lady's Spaghetti sauce

Introduction

Very healthy and nutritious spaghetti sauce. Also very good on chicken and toast Very healthy and nutritious spaghetti sauce. Also very good on chicken and toast
Number of Servings: 30

Ingredients

    3 lbs ground beef, lean
    3 garlic cloves chopped
    1 cup onion chopped
    1 green bell pepper chopped
    1 red bell pepper chopped
    1 cup celery diced
    1 cup carrots sliced
    3 large tomatoes chopped
    1 jar healthy store bought spaghetti sauce
    1 cup tomato paste
    2 cups tomato sauce
    V8 to fill

Directions

Brown beef in skillet. Drain and transfer to a large pot
Add all ingredients and fill the rest of the pot with V8, to make it liquid enough, (the sauce will thicken as it cooks) and season to taste.
Let simmer 6 to 8 hrs on low heat.
Halfway through cooking taste and adjust seasoning
