Garlic Herb Chicken with Fettuccine

Introduction

This was found in my recipe files; I believe it came from McCormick.

I used this for my BUNCO group one month, and they liked it. It is a favorite with my family, too.

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    8 ounces dry fettuccine pasta
    1 T. extra virgin olive oil
    1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut in strips
    1 red and/or yellow bell peper cut in thin strips
    1/2 c. (whole bottle) McCormick's Garlic Herb Seasoning Blend

Directions

1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Set aside.
2. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken; saute five minutes. Stir in bell pepper. Cook and stir 3 minutes longer or until chicken is done.
3. Mix in Garlic Herb Seasoning Blend and cooked pasta. Cook and stir until heated through. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Makes four servings.

NOTE: Refrigerated cheese-filled pasta can be substituted for dry pasta, but I've never done it.
