Introduction

Grew up up on this hot cereal. Real good especially with just a touch of cinnamon sugar and/or molasses. Grew up up on this hot cereal. Real good especially with just a touch of cinnamon sugar and/or molasses.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 cups 2% milk
    1 tsp vanilla

    1 cup all purpose flour
    1 egg

Directions

Heat the milk in a sauce pan with the vanilla.
In a bowl mix the flour and egg with a fork. It will be crumbly.
When the milk is scalding add the flour mixture to the milk and whisk. Turn the heat down to med-low.

Continue to whisk till thickened. Finished product will be lumpy.

Serve hot with optional toppings:
sugar
cinnamon
molasses
honey
