IntroductionUsing real Gorgonzola and no Cream this is still super creamy and rich with room in our meal plan for the pasta. Using real Gorgonzola and no Cream this is still super creamy and rich with room in our meal plan for the pasta.
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
2 cups half-and-half
1 cup 2 % milk
4.33 lb Gorgonzola Dolce Creamy (about 6.8 oz ), cubed
2 teaspoons freshly ground pepper
to taste - salt
Add the Gorgonzola and stir until melted.
Add Pepper and season the sauce to taste w/salt
(no salt was used in nutrional information )
Set aside and cover until pasta is ready to recieve.
Serves 6-8 using 16 oz ( box) pasta and is best with Farfalle, Orecchiette or tubular type of pastas
