Introduction

This is incredibly easy. My mother used this method to cut the acidity of the kraut. This is incredibly easy. My mother used this method to cut the acidity of the kraut.

Ingredients

    1 14 oz pkg Butterball Turkey Polska Kielbasa
    1 15 oz can Bush's Bavarian style Sauerkraut
    2 or 3 T unpacked brown sugar

Directions

Makes 7 servings, 2 oz kraut and 2 oz of Kielbasa each.

Cut Kielbasa into bite size pieces and brown in a nonstick skillet. Add drained kraut and brown sugar. Add about 1/2 cup of water. Heat till liquid bubbles and has evaporated to consistency you like (more or less saucy).
