4lb whole chicken
2 gallons of water
peppercorns, adobe seasoning (salt,pepper, garlic powder), celeryseed
place chicken in the water with all the ingredients and cook gently til chicken falls off the bone.
Remove chicken and cool, strip off the meat (good for dinner that night). place the bones back onto the broth and continue to cook to extract all the flavor.
Strain broth through a cheese cloth and cool. Remove fat that rises to the top before you pour broth into ice cube trays and freeze , once frozen place in either containers or freezer bags so you have broth at your fingertips always..
This makes alot of broth..
Also good for zero pt soup for WW fanatics like me :)
