Introduction

Number of Servings: 36

Ingredients

    2 1/4 cups of flour
    2 1/2 tsp of baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup of shortening
    1 1/4 cups of sugar or Splenda
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp vanilla
    1 1/2 cups of mashed, ripe bananas

Directions

Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream the shortening and sugar. Add the eggs, bananas, vanilla, and beat for a minute. Add in the flour mixture. Pour mixture into two 8" square pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. To make sure it's baked, stick a toothpick in the middle and see if it's dry. Enjoy!
