Ingredients

    1 small head of cabbage
    8 oz whole wheat rotini, or other pasta
    1 cup chopped or sliced onion
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp salt
    1 tbsp olive oil
    i can't believe it's not butter spray

Directions

cook pasta as directed on package, set to side
heat olive oil in pan ,and saute onion and cabbage, add salt and pepper. combine pasta and cabbage mix together, and give finished product some sprays of the i can't believe it's not butter spray for a more buttery taste

    Nice recipe. I altered it a bit --
    used a large head of cabbage, added 12 oz of chicken stock to cook all of it. Let some of it boil off when the cabbage was done cooking.

    I didn't use the spray, but did add a little olive oil to the noodles while they were waiting, to keep them from sticking. - 8/28/08
