Poke Cake 12 slices (WW 5)

Ingredients

    Water, tap, 1.5 cup (8 fl oz)
    *Egg white, 3
    Applesauce, unsweetened, 0.33 cup
    *Cool Whip Free, 50 tbsp (whole container)
    Jello sugar free 0.3 oz,
    White cake mix (mix only), 10 serving

Directions

Blend together with mixer Cake mix, applesauce, egg whites and water. Bake @ 350 for about 25 minutes. Let cool completely. Poke small holes all over the cake all the way down to the bottom . Mix together in separate bowl 1 cup hot water and the jello ( any flavor you want). Disolve jello completely and pour over cake. The cake with absorb the jello. Let the cake dry again, about 10-15 minutes . Before serving top with the cool whip free. Use the whole container for the frosting. Cut into 12 pieces. Nice size piece of cake.

    You didn't say what size pan to use.....I made this last night in a 9 x13 pan. Super easy and tasted INCREDIBLE!!! The unsweetened applesauce makes it very moist and saves tons of calories. The only problem is it's hard to stop at one piece!!! Was a big hit with my family. Thanks! - 9/6/10
