Low Fat, Low Sugar Chocolate Banana Muffins

Submitted by: WESTENDGIRL75

Introduction

The only thing used to sweeten this muffin is honey and whatever natural sugars are in the ripe bananas you use. You can adjust the level of chocolatey taste to your own liking, just remember to adjust the amount of honey accordingly (about 1/2 part honey for every 1 part of cocoa). • Healthy and delicious, loved this recipe! Thank you for sharing. The muffin has a subtle chocolate flavor (not so chocolatey) with the banana really coming through (I used very ripe bananas- the ones my kids do not eat because they have gone too brown). I added dark chocolate chips for added flavor. - 10/26/13
