Dany's Shrimp and Asparagus Alfredo

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 box of Whole Wheat Linguini
    1 quart of Heavy Whipping Cream
    15 large or medium shrimp
    1 tbsp. crushed red pepper
    2 cloves of garlic (crushed) (judge by eye)
    1 cup of chopped asparagus (if you chop it the kids will eat it!)
    1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
    1 tbsp. of black pepper
    pinch of salt for taste


Directions

Cook pasta according to box directions. In a seperate saute pan cook shrimp with the crushed red pepper until they turn a nice pink color...put to the side. In the same pan start heating your whipping cream, add in the crushed garlic and bring to a slow boil. Add in your asparagus and half of your parmesan cheese. Once the sauce starts to thicken add add your shrim, when well blended add this all to your pasta. Add the rest of the parmesan cheese and mix altogether. This is a fabulous recipe, better than a restaurant...good luck!
