Macaroni Salad

Introduction

Low-fat macaroni salad with flaked turkey, ham, chicken, or tuna Low-fat macaroni salad with flaked turkey, ham, chicken, or tuna
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    4 cup macaroni, preferably whole wheat, any variety
    1 cup shredded celery
    1 cup shredded onion
    1 cup frozen peas
    1 can meat (turkey, ham, chicken, or tuna)
    3-4 cup non-fat mayo (calculations are for 3 cups)
    salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Cook macaroni in lots of water, when just about done, add peas. Cook 5 more minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water till cool. Add celery, onions, meat, mayo, salt, & pepper. Mix well. Let sit in the refridgerator for several hours to mix flavors.
Makes 8 1 1/2 cup servings
