3 1/2 C flour
1/3 C sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) cold butter cut up. Nutrition uses Blue Bonnet Light Margarine
2 Cups (12 oz pkg) Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 C buttermilk
COmbine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt in large bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in chocolate chips. Stir in buttermilk with fork just until moistened.
Drop on to baking sheets.
Bake 12- 14 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely.
