Detox Slimming Broth

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3 Qts water
    2 sliced carrots
    1 chopped onion
    1 c. cubed squash
    1 c. root veggies
    2 c. chopped greens (kale or parsley)
    2 celery stalks
    1/2 c. shredded cabbage
    four 1/4" slices fresh ginger
    2 cloves garlic
    sea salt

Directions

For every 3 qts water, add 2 sliced carrots, 1 chopped onion, 1 c. cubed squash, 1 c. root veggies like turnips, 2c. chopped greens like kale or parsley, 2 celery stalks, 1/2 c. shredded cabbag; four 1/2 slices fresh ginger and 2 cloves garlic. Add sea salt and spice to taste. Boil on low for 1 hr (or longer to taste). Cool, strain, discard cooked veggies (I usually put them in the freezer to puree into a future veggie soup). Store broth in a sealed glass contaner in the fridge. Heat 1 serving at a time as needed.
