Granola Bars

Introduction

Essentially an oatmeal raisin cookie in bar form. Essentially an oatmeal raisin cookie in bar form.
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. unsalted butter
    2 tbsp. honey
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1 egg
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    '1 1/2 c oatmeal
    1 1/4 c all-bran buds
    1 c raisins

Directions

Mix sugars and butter. Add honey, vanilla, and eggs. Mix well. Blend flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Stir in with butter mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Press firmly into the bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350*F for 20-25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. Bars will firm was they stand. Crumbs are good over yogurt. Makes 24 bars.
