Whole Wheat Vegan Pizza

Introduction

A great basic vegan pizza! Feel free to top with any vegetable you want. A great basic vegan pizza! Feel free to top with any vegetable you want.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Crust:
    2/3 cups water
    2 tbsp olive oil
    3/8 teaspoon salt
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 cup whole-wheat pizza
    1 tsp yeast

    Toppings:
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1.5 cups pasta sauce
    12 thin slices of tomato
    1 red pepper, thinly sliced
    1 tsp oregano (fresh or dried)
    1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Place crust ingredients in bread machine in order given. Make dough in bread machine following machine directions. Brush baking pan with 1/2 tbsp olive oil. Roll out dough and place on pan. Brush entire crust with remaining olive oil. Spread sauce. Top with veggies, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Bake at 450 F for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Makes 12 slices.
