Korean Beef Patties with Rice

Introduction

This recipe makes 4 yummy beef patties that you cook like a burger and then crumble over cooked rice. Very tasty! This recipe makes 4 yummy beef patties that you cook like a burger and then crumble over cooked rice. Very tasty!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 lb Lean Ground Beef
    4 tbsp. Low Sodium Soy Sauce
    2 tbsp. sugar
    1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
    1 tbsp. sesame seed oil
    2 tbsp. chopped green onions (chives)
    1 tbsp. minced garlic
    black pepper to taste

Directions

Combine all ingredients. Form into 4 balls and flatten into patties. Broil, grill, or pan fry until done. If you pan fry you may want to spray a little Pam on your skillet first. Serve over cooked rice. I usually just cook 1 cup of uncooked rice with 2 cups of water to yield 3 cups of cooked rice. I crumble a cooked patty over rice and mix it together, YUM!
