Ingredients
-
Dough:
6 1/2 Cups Flour
1 1/2 Cups Non-fat Milk
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
5 Eggs
2 Packages Active Dry Yeast
3/4 Cup Margarine
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
Filling:
1 Cup Sugar
1 Stick Margarine
4 Teaspoons Cinnamon
Glaze:
3 Tablespoons Non-fat Milk
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Directions
In a large mixing bowl combine 3 cups of flour and yeast. In a medium sauce pan heat milk, margarine, sugar and salt just till warm and butter is almost melted, stirring constantly. Add to flour mixture along with eggs. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed 1/2 minute. Beat on high speed 3 minutes. Stir in remaining flour to make a soft dough. Place in greased bowl; grease top of dough lightly. Cover; let rise in warm place till double about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Stir dough down (it will be a little sticky). Divide dough in half. Roll each half out on a floured surface to about 16 in X 8 in. In a small bowl combine sugar, butter, and cinnamon. Spread half the mixture over each rectangle. Starting with the long edge roll up jelly roll fashion. With a piece of string cut the roll into 1 inch slices. Place, cut side down in 2 greased 9X13X2 pans. Cover and let rise until double, about 30-50 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Combine milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Drizzle cinnamon rolls with glaze.
