quick potato chowder

Ingredients

1 1/2 slices bacon
1 t. olive oil
1 small clove garlic
1/2 t. red pepper flakes
1 can whole potatoes, diced, drained
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can reduced sodium chicken broth
oregano
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/3 c. milk
Directions
Cooke bacon and pepper flakes over medium high heat until bacon just starting to brown. Add olive oil and garlic, minced. Cook 1 minute; add chicken broth, stirring to get bits off bottom of pan. Add potatoes and corn; bring to boil. Add oregano, cream and milk and stir until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
