Introduction

These are the best brownies I have found. Easy to make and really tasty. They are so versatile and you can have them plain or add anything to them These are the best brownies I have found. Easy to make and really tasty. They are so versatile and you can have them plain or add anything to them
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    4 oz unsweetened chocolate( I use bittersweet and 5 oz)
    2 sticks butter
    1 3/4 packed brown sugar
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp vanilla
    3/4 cup flour (makes fudgy ones increase to 1 cup more cake like)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350' and butter the 9x13 inch pan. Melt the chocolate in microwave or on the stove top on a double boiler pan. Once melted set aside and let cool 10 minutes. Take the butter and the brown sugar and combine until fluffy and light in color. Add the eggs one at a time and make sure to mix a little after each one. Next add the vanilla. Once the chocolate is cooled, drizzle into the butter mixture. mixing as you go. Lastly, add the flour. combine just until no streaks of flour are left. At this time you can add orange zest, chocolate chips, nuts, etc. or just plain. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Once out of the oven, cut into squares and let cool for 1 hour or more. Unless you love warm brownies, then enjoy!
